MONTICELLO — Michael Joseph Stripens, 70, of Monticello handed away Sunday, Nov. 14, 2021, at house Collectively with his household by his facet.
Michael was born Aug. 23, 1951, in Chicago, the son of Frank and Mary (White) Stripens.
He was preceded in demise by his mom and father and brother, Tony Stripens.
He is survived by his spouse, Sue Stripens; son, Jonathan Stripens (spouse Andy); son, Ryan Stripens; and grandchildren, Alexis and Logan Stripens, all of Monticello.
He attended Dwight D. Eisenhower Highschool in Blue Island. Michael attended Southern Illinois College in Carbondale, the place he met his spouse, Sue Buehrer. They married in September 1971. After commencement, they moved again to the Chicago space, the place he turned a social worker for DCFS.
